Adults BJJ

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling based martial art that was developed with the intention of equalizing the playing field for the smaller person in the fight. It focuses on leverage and physics to allow the smaller fighter to control a much larger and more aggressive opponent. It is an excellent self defense martial art, but also plays a very big role in modern day MMA. On top of that, it is also a rising sport on its own. Many choose Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as their primary martial art because of the longevity it can provide. There are masters within the BJJ world well into their 70s and 80s that are still able to practice regularly.

We offer primarily Gi Jiu-Jitsu classes, but also No-Gi classes, for all levels of experience. Whether you're looking for a fun, healthy hobby or you desire to compete at the highest levels we've got you covered. Our head instructors are active in the Jiu-Jitsu community and have studied under Carlos Machado to earn their black belts. Our classes include wrestling techniques, traditional takedowns, transitions, sweeps, escapes, and submissions. We spend plenty of time drilling and even more time rolling to get real experience grappling with real grapplers. We have students of all shapes and sizes and welcome anyone willing to learn!

What should I bring to class?

  • Gi and belt (Tri-Force Kimonos and belts available for purchase)

  • A sports mouth guard

  • Water bottle

***If you are on your trial week you can just wear shorts or tight fitting athletic pants with a t-shirt***
